BCC Hawks retained their place at the top of Division Two of the Milton
Keynes City Snooker League as they beat Tornadoes. They looked to
be heading for a whitewash as they raced in to a three frame lead,
until J Reynolds with a 65-58 win and P Reddy with a 61-15 score pulled
back the score to 6-4.
Second place Kiln Farm Comets overcame losing the first frame to
beat Royal British Legion 8-2, D Woods, with two breaks over 20,
was Kiln Farms player of the match.
The Hotshots also kept up the pressure on the leaders as they beat
the Herald Wizards 8-2, K Rixon (Wizards) won the first frame by
one point for their only success on the night.
MKSC Bullets won their match against the Stompers 6-4 after losing
the first two frames.

Unionist Hotshots moved to within 2 points of the leaders BCC Hawks,
as they beat them 6-4 in this top of the table clash. Unionist had
the match won after the first 3 frames, winning them all. P Lewis
& D Rance saved the Hawks from a complete disaster, taking the
last 2 frames with ease.
Third placed Kiln Farm Comets lost to the Bullets in a tight match,
M Michael taking the last frame to seal the win.
Tesco Tornadoes came back from 2 frames down to beat R.B.L 6-4,
which keeps them in touch with the top three.
MKSC Stompers remain in bottom place, as they were beaten 6-4
by Herald Wizards, even though they won the first 2 frames and D
Holtham recording a beak of 28 they still can't win a match.
