Herald Breakers took advantage of Cranfields free week to move eight points clear at the top beating S.S.C.C. B 8-2. T Wilson was the Con Club's only winner on a night when they were well beaten in the other frames.

Misfits beat the Jedi Knights 6-4 winning the last 3 frames to take the match after R Burgess & S Wingrove stormed into a two-frame lead, R Burgess taking the MOM with a 24 break.

BCC Wellingtons won their match 6-4 against Park B after losing the first frame on the black ball, D Joyce with a 31 break took the second and then won doubles with partner J Lipinski who also won the third singles and MOM for the Wellingtons.

The top two teams met at Cranfield with the home side winning 6-4 after a great match, the first two frames were shared Cranfield then took control winning the doubles 53-16 and then C Catlin taking the third singles 62-23 to seal the win. Breakers won the last frame through T Sills but by then it was all over.

Jedi Knights are still in touch with the leading two after they beat early leaders BCC Wellingtons 6-4, again this was a close match three of the frames going down to the black ball.

Park B made up some ground on S.S.C.C.B beating them 8-2 to close the gap between them, but they are still ten points adrift at the bottom.

Herald Breakers beat bottom placed Park B 8-2 to remain top they have however played two matches more than the second placed Cranfield and only lead them by ten points, that could be a close run thing for the title.

Misfits beat BCC Wellingtons 8-2 with a good all round performance with some very close frames three of which could have gone either way, they could still feature in the promotion race at the end of the season.
