The top two teams met at Cranfield with the home side winning 6-4
after a great match, the first two frames were shared Cranfield then
took control winning the doubles 53-16 and then C Catlin taking the
third singles 62-23 to seal the win. Breakers won the last frame through
T Sills but by then it was all over.
Jedi Knights are still in touch with the leading two after they
beat early leaders BCC Wellingtons 6-4, again this was a close match
three of the frames going down to the black ball.
Park B made up some ground on S.S.C.C.B beating them 8-2 to close
the gap between them, but they are still ten points adrift at the
bottom.

Herald Breakers beat bottom placed Park B 8-2 to remain top they have
however played two matches more than the second placed Cranfield and
only lead them by ten points, that could be a close run thing for
the title.
Misfits beat BCC Wellingtons 8-2 with a good all round performance
with some very close frames three of which could have gone either
way, they could still feature in the promotion race at the end of
the season.
