The battle for the Premier A division title is hotting up Wolverton Warriors still remain in top position but they must be getting nervous, they visited MKSC Matchroom last week and were well beaten 8-2 by a very good team, A Ceasar was the only winner for the Warriors taking the second frame 59-11.

MKSC Hustlers remain in third place as they beat a three man Specialist side that has lost the last six matches; they started well with young J Watson taking the first frame against M Webb, A Gardiner levelled the match Specialists then took the doubles before D Rayner took the third singles beating R Wellington 71-31. With Specialists only having three players Hustlers claimed the last frame and the match.

Park A moved above BCC Spitfires with an 8-2 win, after losing the first frame they won the next four with a mixture of good fortune and good snooker, M Newland with a break of 34 in his frame won MOM for Park A.

Deserters beat bottom placed Bad Boys after losing the first two frames, S Appleby and P Doody wining the last two singles to seal the win.

Wolverton Warriors maintained their form and held their nerve with a 6-4 win against BCC Spitfires to retain the Premier A title, D Thody continued his fine run with breaks of 33 & 39 to win 86-27 against R Beckley, captain A Ceasar took the last frame 82-26 to seal the win and the title they last won in 1997-98.

MKSC Matchroom beat the Bad Boys 10-0 and even though they won more matches than the Warriors they have to settle for runners up, they do have in T McGary the player with the highest break in the league a magnificent 133.

Bad Boys and Park A are both relegated after a season of struggling.
