As you all know, the snooker league has been blessed with some true gentleman over the years. Many of them have either battled against cancer or have been taken away from us by cancer. Almost all of us know someone who has been affected by cancer, and lymphoma is just one of many variants.
My Dad was diagnosed with a rare, particularly nasty form of cancer, and given a very bleak outlook. With the help of the
Lymphoma Association, he battled the condition, and five years later he is still with us. He is one of the lucky few.
To celebrate this, and raise money for one of the charities that helped him through it, we are both doing a tandem skydive at Brackley Airport on my Dads birthday, the 23rd April 2011.
To do this sponsored skydive / parachute jump each participant has to raise a minimum of £500, but I think we can do better!
